Essay and Poetry

This competition is open to any of your students in grades 4-9. There is no cost to you or your students.    Students who win the state competition will be awarded special medallions to signify their achievement. National winners will each receive an 8 x 10 plaque.  

Remember, writing is an important skill to develop. Help your students develop that skill. This competition will be a challenge and an encouragement to them.

Elementary (4 - 6):    Poetry - The Circus
                                     Essay - The Hardest Words to Say
Junior High (7 - 9):    Poetry - The Perfect Gift
                                     Essay - Running the Race

 

All entries have been received in the SCACS office and will be graded and sent to the AACS office.
