AACS National Fine Arts Competition
The 2011 National Competition was held on April 12-14 at Bob Jones University in Greenville, SC. All the students that represented South Carolina performed well and we had 16 participants place from 4 different schools. We had one group that performed in the showcase on Thursday evening, Hampton Park's Small Vocal Ensemble performed and did very well.
Every year AACS gives the Cup of Excellence to the state that scores the most points (points are given for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners). South Carolina tied for 3rd with Tennessee behind Virginia and Illinois.
